BE PREPARED FOR THE CHRISTMAS CHAOS

As the festive season draws closer, and everyone starts racing to the shops and frantically writing Christmas cards, MAS understands the season is already in full swing for all those businesses who provide services over Christmas. Christmas parties and events mean that cafes and restaurants go into overdrive and food & beverage producers and foodservice companies are already into one of their busiest times in the calendar.

As the weather hots up, delivering fresh, refrigerated food products all over Sydney and beyond can be a challenge. If you own or manage a business that requires refrigerated vehicles for distribution, here are a few tips for a season that is more ‘jingle all the way’ and less meltdown mayhem.

Beat the Rush

It’s a hectic time of year, so if you can get ahead and beat the rush you’ll be much better placed for smooth sailing through the silly season. Encourage, and even incentivise, your clients to get their orders in early so you can manage your operations more easily.

Keep Your Fleet Moving

The last thing you need is to be struggling to fill orders because you don’t have your vehicles on the road to deliver the goods. Ensure you have a business partner like MAS on hand who will ensure your refrigerated vehicles are on the road as soon as possible. We are an experienced, reliable specialist who can keep your vehicles running AND keep them cold (!), minimising disruption to your deliveries.

The refrigeration units found in refrigerated vans require a level of specific expert knowledge which can’t always be found in a generalist auto mechanics workshop. Having trained mechanics on hand who can identify and resolve refrigeration problems quickly will save a lot of time in the long run.

Have a Back Up Plan

What will you do if your vehicle breaks down right in the middle of the Christmas period? Well firstly MAS have a 24-hour/7 day roadside assistance and towing service for commercial vehicles so you won’t be left to sweat it alone. With in-house expertise in commercial trucks, refrigeration units and truck body repairs we will get you back on the road asap. And in the meantime, MAS partners with All Wheel Commercial Truck & Van Rentals to provide the right vehicle to pick up the slack. The All Wheels fleet includes 14, 12, 10, 8, 6 and 4 pallet trucks and Mercedes Benz Sprinter, Toyota Hiace and Hyundai Iload commercial refrigerated vans.

Talk to MAS or All Wheels Commercial Truck & Van Rentals today for more information on how we can support your business over this busy period.
