Car MAS commenced its Commercial Refrigeration Services operation in 2000 as a repairer of commercial vehicle refrigeration units. Since then, we have expanded our operation to include a purpose built workshop to accomodate the spectacular growth of our food service industry client base and their need for local, cost-effective and immediate maintenance and repairs of their refrigeration units.

MAS's Commercial Refrigeration Service division offers preventative maintenance servicing, supply and installation of units, calibration, fault finding and comprehensive repairs to all commercial vehicle refrigeration units including but not limited to premium brands such as Carrier, Therma King and Eez- Freez.

Our team is made up of Australian Refrigeration Council Ltd qualified trades people who have extensive experience and workshop skills.

Refrigeration Services Performed
  • Preventative maintenance servicing
  • Component fabrication and brazing
  • The supply and installation of new units
  • Replacement of condensors, compressors, controller units, TX valves, receiver driers, orrifices, pressure switches and evaporator fans
  • Tracing and rectifying relay and wiring faults
  • Replacement of hoses and the crimping of fittings. We are equipped to make hoses on site with new fittings
  • The use of relevant temperature gauges to ensure that the system is running at the correct temperature
  • Re-gas of R134A+ / R404 / SP134E / R507
  • R12 to R134A retro-fit
  • The certified calibration of vehicle fitted refrigeration systems and on site freezers and chillers
  • The Fleet maintenance report issued quarterly also incorporates all issues relating to refrigeration and air conditioning systems on each vehicle.

    MAS can offer you Refrigeration Preventative Maintenance servicing. This is our way of ensuring that the refrigeration systems fitted to your vehicles are inspected comprehensively. We can customise a schedule to suit your business activity. Regular servicing of your vehicle refrigeration systems will minimise the possibility of mechanical component breakdown and maximise the efficiency of its operation.
